Began in 2001 as a coping mechanism after a major life change, 'l'inizio' is as sprawling, amateur, and full of energy as one would expect from a debut. Recording took place in the Brown Room in 2001 and 2002 and preceded a legendary mixing period that was not complete until 2003. The title track contains the only released contribution to date of itinerant member J. Horak.
'L'inizio' is an outward-looking record, reflecting the search for meaning in our common past. A figure on the horizon, looking to huddle with other figures.
